LETTER TO THE CLUB FROM OUR CAPTAIN

This collection celebrates the singular act of being a soccer fan in the United States. The way it has changed your life. The particular thrill you feel on an early Saturday morning and how you get up earlier on a weekend than you do for the work week. How you pour a cup of coffee, tea, or beer, before settling into your favorite seat for five straight hours of screaming at teams thousands of miles away. The fact that screaming at the television has magical transitive properties on people's action thousands of miles away.

The feeling you experience when watching these teams and taking a first sip of coffee or beer makes you feel so ecstatically connected to the world and wondrously alive. The fact you eat different breakfast on soccer mornings can be and should be a ritual. Full English, coffee, and beer. It makes you believe that anything and everything is possible. Unstoppable forces and immovable objects collide. Favorites pommel underdogs. David can slay Goliath.

With this collection, we created a special ceramic set that should be reserved ONLY for weekend soccer watching. It smiles back at you from the cupboard all week and counts down the days until kickoff. Early Saturday morning, you pull it out while the coffee pot is brewing. It is still dark outside, and you have just fired up the big screen in anticipation for the 10 games to come etc. It is the special vessel which can only be used when tiny shinpads are on the screen, VAR is humming, and a Robbie or two are spitting life truths. That is when we feel most alive and we are connected to our emotions. This is the MiB Breakfast Club. IYKY. But everyone is welcome, because Football is better with friends.
